Book Club – Every Monday at Aberkenfig Library, and via Zoom, 2pm – 3.30pm.

Tanio Art Class – Every Tuesday, at the centre, 10.15am – midday.

Wildflower Art Class – Every Tuesday (term-time only) for autistic girls and young women (between the ages of 5-25 years old) and their parents. Run by Kate, from at The Craft Junction. At the centre 10am-midday.

Carers Choir – Every Tuesday at Westward Community Centre 2pm – 3pm.

Community Café – Every Wednesday at the centre, midday – 2pm.

Zumba – Every Wednesday at the centre 10.30am – 11.30am.

Yoga – Every Friday at the centre 11am – 12pm £5 per session.

OUTREACH GROUPS

Llynfi Valley Carers Support Group

The first Monday of the month, from 10am-midday, at Dyffryn Chapel, Maesteg.

Porthcawl Carers Support Group

The second Tuesday of the month, from 10am-midday, at The Seabank, Porthcawl.

Ogmore Valley Support Group

The first Tuesday of the month, from 10am-midday, at The Brothers Café, Nantymoel.

Garw Valley Carers Support Group

The second Thursday of the month, from 10am-midday, at Lily’s Café, Pontycymmer.

Pencoed Carers Support Group

The third Thursday of the month, from 10.30am–12.30pm, at Pencoed Library.

Legal Surgery – a free 30-minute consultation for carers needing legal advice, concerning their caring role, with Howells Solicitors on 30^th October, 27^th November and18^th December. At the centre or via telephone.

Carers Walks – a guided walk, from 10am-midday, on Wednesday 15^th October, 12^th November and 10^th December.

Therapy Thursday – Choose from a range of treatments and therapies. Thursday 25th September, 30th October, 27^th November and 11^th December at the centre. Appointments last 30 mins and are bookable between 10am and 1pm.

Parent Carer coffee morning with craft – Thursday 9th October, 6th November and 11th December at the centre 10am – midday.

Parent Carer Drop-in – Run by our parent carer volunteer, Lucy (Bridgend PDA Support), this group is particularly suitable for parents whose children have ASD, ADHD, PDA, anxiety or struggle with school avoidance, Thursday 23rd October and Thursday 20^th November 10am – midday at the centre.

Wildflower Monthly Meet-ups – Our Saturday meet-ups are open to all our Wildflowers (including those that attend the weekly art class) and are a great way to meet new people – for parent carers to gain peer support, information and knowledge – and for the girls to enjoy a range of crafts and other activities. Saturday 25^th October 12.30-2.30pm

Young Carers ages 5-9 group – 18^th November and 16^th December, at the centre 5-7pm.

 Young Carers ages 10–12 group – 11^th November and 9^th December, at the centre, 5-7pm.

 Young Carers Teens Group – 25^th November, at the centre, and Christmas Trip on 3^rd December 5-7pm.

Lego Club – A lovely opportunity for families to come together to play in a safe space. With masses of Lego, crafts, play equipment and a sensory corner, run by Helen from Becalm Relax, the club has something to offer everyone. 10am-midday on Saturday 11^th October, 15^th November and Christmas Party 13^th December.

Cynefin Wellbeing Sessons (for 8 weeks, excluding half-term) Starts 29^th September at STEER for parent carers with their school avoiding/ homeschooled children with disabilities – 10.30am-12.30pm

Male Carer activity– Axe Throwing and Archery, Sunday 12th October 10am, at Adventure Wales, Porthcawl.

Cooking on a budget– Ingredients and equipment provided – Thursday 13th October 10am – 12pm and Thursday 1st December 10am – 12pm at the centre
